WHAT ARE PTFE COMPOSITE BUSHINGS

Advanced Self-Lubricating Technology

PTFE composite bushings are high-performance plain bearings that combine a metal backing with a porous bronze interlayer and a PTFE-based sliding surface. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) overlay, often reinforced with fibers or solid lubricants, provides exceptional self-lubricating properties and the lowest friction coefficient of any bearing material.
