Understanding ISO Tolerances
s6 Shaft Tolerance (Bushing OD)
The s6 tolerance class is used for press fit shafts. The bushing outer diameter is manufactured larger than the nominal size to create interference with the hole.
H7 Hole Tolerance (Housing)
The H7 tolerance class is the standard for precision holes. The minimum hole size equals the nominal dimension, with a positive tolerance allowing for slight enlargement.
