Solid Lubricant Bronze Bearings (JDB Series)
JBM JDB graphite plugged bronze bushings are cast from high-tensile manganese brass (C86300 / CuZn25Al5Mn4Fe3) — the same alloy grade used in Oiles #500SP. The graphite plugs (SL4 grade) are deeply embedded into precision-drilled holes across the bearing surface, providing 20–30% coverage for consistent self-lubrication throughout the bearing's life.
Unlike surface coatings that wear off after a few thousand cycles, embedded graphite plugs continuously transfer a thin lubricating film to the mating shaft during operation. The result: maintenance-free performance at loads up to 100 N/mm² and temperatures up to +300 °C — without a single drop of oil or grease.
